Thrive Dietetics was founded by Kim in 2020. Kim is a passionate advocate for the amazing influence that nutrition, exercise, mindset, sleep, and recovery, can have on every aspect of our lives.

Kim has always had an ongoing fascination with human physiology, food and biochemistry. Her clinical background has allowed her to develop diverse medical nutrition therapy skills in supporting people suffering from a range of chronic conditions. Kim takes pride in keeping up to date with new research that supports functional nutrition, including foods and those habits that allow us to thrive.

“My own personal experience with food intolerances has allowed me to understand first-hand the pivotal role that nutrition plays, and the impact it has on our physiology including our mood, hormones, sleep, metabolism – the list goes on! I have grown a special interest in gut health, managing complex gut disorders, and the link between our gut and mental health. I value Hippocrates philosophies; a healthy mind in a healthy body being the main component of his philosophy, and believe in the principle of wholeness.”

Good nutrition is far more complicated than just the foods we eat. Through critical thinking, Kim approaches health and nutrition as a whole. Her clinical application and skills enable her to prioritise dietary interventions based on a range of interrelated diet-disease relationships.

Whether you're looking to lose weight, improve your digestion, boost your energy levels, or simply feel better in your body, Kim is here to help you every step of the way. With a focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods and sustainable lifestyle habits, she will screen for underlying issues that are stagnating progress and help you create a plan that works for your unique needs and preferences.
